Many people suffer unnecessarily from knee pain due to osteoarthritis (OA), a degenerative joint disease characterised by breakdown of the joint's cartilage that cushions the bones of the knee.

CTi® Custom Brace
The CTi Brace was introduced in 1983 and remains the cornerstone of Össur's ligament bracing product line today. While the original CTi has evolved over time, the basic philosophy remains unchanged - a static support system consisting of a rigid frame will hold the bones in proper alignment and provide high level of control to prevent displacement. The constant development and improvement of this classic design is why the CTi remains the top choice of athletes and leading physicians around the world.
The hand-laminated, rigid, carbon composite CTi knee brace frame captures the tibia, providing the brace-to-bone contact needed for maximum stabilisation of the knee joint. The non-elastic cruciate strapping combined with a rigid frame that truly captures the tibia, results in a static support system. The Accutrac hinge was developed by analysing natural leg motion and resulted in the invention of a patented 4-bar linkage system that more-accurately mimics the natural movement of an unbraced knee.
The CTi Custom is generally used for high levels of support where comfort and strength are notcompromised with weight and bulkiness. It can also offer greater advantages for accurate fitting where leg shape abnormalities present a problem.
CTi® OTS Brace
The brace that has set the standard for truly custom ligament knee bracing for nearly 25 years is available off-the-shelf. Subsituting elements of the rigid CTi frame with a flexible subshell and adjustable tibial strap, CTi OTS provides adjustability and an excellent out-of-the-box fit while maintaining the level of support and protection that you expect from a CTi knee brace.
MVP® Contour
The MVP Contour is used for mild to severe ligament laxity, sprain, or deficiency. It provides protection and stabilisation of ligaments after surgical repair or reconstruction.
Trainer
The Trainer Brace is used for mild to moderate ligament laxity and acute management of Grade I and Grade II MCL sprains. It is recommended for low to moderate activity.
Unloader One® Custom Brace
Unloader One is the most significant re-design of the Unloader concept since its inception. At only half the weight of the original Unloader, Unloader One combines streamlined, flexible upright with Dual Dynamic Force Straps to generate more unloading leverage than any Unloader to date. Add a racheting Dynamic Force Control System and liners that feature Össur Sensil® Silicone Technology and Unloader One offers superior unloading power in an easy-to-use, comfortable orthosis that won't migrate.
